Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a British musician and singer. She was born Elena Jane Goulding on 30 December 1986, in Hereford. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to her irresistible electronic pop tunes "Starry Eyed" and Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano voice and has a talent to write songs that are emotional with uplifting lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she is at forefront of contemporary mainstream pop as well as arty independent music. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign Goulding and was preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
