Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. Her main work involves in Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. Annayum Rasoolum Malayalam film is her Malayalam acting debut. Andrea Jeremiah was raised to a Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father is a lawyer working at the Madras High Court. She has one younger sister who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano at the age of eight. Andrea was a huge geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. In her twenties, she became a part of a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the basis of her first performing and music composition career. She was also a theatre performer in the college she attended and performed in a variety of stage plays organised in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's professional career began with the Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the new leo Coffee advertisement was in the role of Shiva. She was also on the Podhigai Channel, a television series. She has performed all over India. She appeared in a small role at the end of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to play the lead role after she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu.
