Coleman was born at Blackpool Lancashire. She was the head girl in the Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A level. When discussing her character from Emmerdale, Coleman expressed regret for not attending a university. Coleman appeared as Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival with a company named In Yer Space, which she performed in while at the school. The show was awarded a prize to her for her show, and the production itself received a favorable reception. Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. This happened in 2005. In 2007 Coleman was awarded two Awards. Coleman won two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer for the National Television Awards. In 2009, she received nominations for two categories: Best Actress-Sexiest Female and Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was awarded the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor after Arthur Darvill left the series she would play the role with Matt Smith. Moffat has decided to cast her in the role because she has the strongest chemistry with Smith. Also, she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the industry of entertainment since 1987. Her most well-known work is her television work rather than film. Of the many roles Eva has played on TV shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which stand out. It was the former that brought her two nominations for the 'Daytime Emmy.' She also got to express her creative side via music. Eva is not just acting, but she's as well a philanthropist and businesswoman. Eva has had three marriages and is the mother of a child from her previous husband.
