Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage actor in several Broadway plays before breaking through to national prominence with Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. The album was released by her too late for Tina the following year. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden, in God's Little Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This movie was hugely popular and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. As a student of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work between Broadway TV and Hollywood acting in more realistic characters as in contrast to her portrayal as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was a successful television director with various series like Supernatural & The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
